At the beginning of the summer of 2008, Hubert Debbasch,
CEO of Terre Entière, went to Iraq, and more particularly to the autonomous province
of Kurdistan. The main objective of the trip was to better understand the country
and its inhabitants and to prepare cultural tours and pilgrimages to a country which,
notwithstanding its many trials and tribulations, still constitutes a vast record
of the history of humanity.
Terre Entière would like to thank the civil and religious
authorities in the country that made this visit both possible and successful. The
undertaking now relies on the quality of the relations established with all those
working for peace in putting together projects which will in turn help to nurture
humanity in the travellers, their hosts and that beautiful land that is Iraqi Kurdistan.
Terre Entière clients will be informed in good time
of travel projects in Iraq. Whether or not you are a potential traveller, I hope
that these photos will evoke a desire for a greater understanding of this history
- which is also a part of our own - and of a situation which, in reality, happily
extends far beyond that reported in numerous media.
Travellers and their friends are welcome to download
these photos, however they may in no case be used for commercial purposes, are protected
by copyright and remain the property of Terre Entière.
